Michael Fragos
Chief Winemaker
Winemaker Michael Fragos joined Chapel Hill in February 2004. A fabulous addition to our winemaking team, Michael, who was named Winestate Magazine's Winemaker of the Year in December 2003, has come to us from the position of General Manager and Senior Winemaker at Tatachilla. Michael has an enviable reputation as an outstanding winemaker and is well known in the international winemaking arena.

Jim Humphrys
CEO
Jim Humphrys joined Chapel Hill in August 2005, replacing CEO Pam Dunsford who was one of the founders of the brand as we know it today. Jim’s early days in the wine industry were spent in viticulture at McLaren Vale where he owned and operated a vineyard. Twenty years ago Jim joined the Hardy Wine Company where he worked in a number of areas - PR, Brand Management, International Marketing and finally became International Trading Manager before moving to Chapel Hill Winery.

Bryn Richards
Assisting Michael Fragos is dynamic young winemaker Bryn Richards who recently came to Chapel Hill with a wealth of experience considering his youth.

Bryn has worked vintages in Australia, New Zealand, United States, England and Portugal.

Pip Forrester
General Manager of the Gourmet Retreat
Pip joined Chapel Hill with the opening of the Gourmet Retreat. Restaurateur/Owner for 17 years of Salopian Inn, the highly regarded and multi-award winning restaurant with a reputation for being one of Australia’s best regional restaurants. Pip is a fabulous addition to the Chapel Hill team as the Gourmet Retreat's General Manager.

Peter Hogg
Executive Chef of the Gourmet Retreat
Peter Hogg, Executive Chef at the Gourmet Retreat has eighteen years professional experience. Over that time, Peter has worked in a leading capacity at three of South Australia’s icon restaurants: Magill Estate, culinary home of Penfold’s Grange, Head Chef at the Red Ochre Grill, famous for its use of Australian Bush Foods and Head Chef for six years at the Salopian Inn in the McLaren Vale wine region. Still hungry for more, Peter has further sharpened his skills through his own regional produce business and teaching his craft at the local TAFE College, before joining Chapel Hill in August 2004.

Adele Heinze
National Sales and Marketing - Australia & Canada
Adele has headed up the marketing department since 1997. She joined the wine industry in 1984 and has extensive experience marketing prominent Australian and European wine brands.
