Campbell Mattinson and Gary Walsh have just launched their 2009/10 BIG RED WINE BOOK and Chapel Hill’s 2007 red wines have excelled. All the 07s scored in the 90’s and in particular the 07 McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon was chosen as the “Cabernet Sauvignon of the Year”

This year’s edition of the BIG RED WINE BOOK is 40% bigger than last year, covering over 1000 new release and back vintage wines from Australia and overseas. The book sells for $24.95
The success with the Cabernet follows from the Best Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2007 International Wine and Spirit Competition in London with the 05 McLaren Vale Cabernet. Michael Fragos, Chapel Hill’s Chief Winemaker also won International Winemaker of the Year at the competition.
