The Gourmet Retreat recently won a 2005 SA Tourism Award for Best New Tourism Development.

    We will again be offering our Cooking Classes in 2008. This year we will be holding both Demonstration and Hands On classes.

    • Demonstration Classes: March and December
    • Hands on Sundays: February and July

    Inspiration for Easter - Celebrate Easter with dishes using autumn produce. Peter Hogg will demonstrate dishes that will give you ideas for a sensational Easter break.

    Butchery – A Slow Food Event – Join Butcher, Ian Shaw, for a butchery demonstration along with discussions on cuts of Fleurieu Lamb and cooking with Chef Peter Hogg.
    Sunday 21st September 2008, 11.30am – 2.30pm

    A Fleurieu Christmas — It is always great to have ideas to share with family and friends over the Christmas and New Year Holiday period. Join Peter in this class to take a look at dishes for this time of year.

    gourmet weekend package

    Chapel Hill Winery Gourmet Retreat is excited to offer groups of 10 - 20 people an exceptional weekend away with the opportunity to cook sensational food based on fresh seasonal produce and match it with wine from the world renowned range of Chapel Hill wines. The weekend encompasses a visit to the Willunga Farmers Market, three Hands-On cooking class sessions preparing dishes to be enjoyed and matched with Chapel Hill wines over the course of a weekend.
