We would love to host you in our Tasting Room within an iconic 150 year old chapel. Let us treat you to an experience of fine wine, heritage and art.
Located right next to our beautiful winery, you may even see our winemakers pop in to say hello.
We offer five wine tasting experiences, including our vintage experience (Feb – April) all complemented by friendly and knowledgeable service.
The Chapel Hill Tasting
While Chapel Hill is known as a shiraz specialist in the McLaren Vale region, the winery produces an impressive selection of wines from lighter styles to the more complex. From whites and rosé, reds and red-blends to full-bodied reds and fortified wines. Choose a flight that reflects your taste preference, whether you’re a red drinker, prefer a white or love a bit of everything.
COST: $15pp with 10% off any 12 or more wines purchased on the day.
The Devil is in the Detail Tasting
Making prestige wines of provenance is all down to attention to the smallest detail. This tasting explores our flagship wines including the truly remarkable The Devil Shiraz, with museum vintages to compare to the most recent releases. Matched with a local produce platter, all the wines have ratings of 95 points or higher and offer an exceptional insight into the meticulous attention to detail that makes these wines stand out.
COST: $75pp (includes the wine tasting a produce platter) with 10% off any 12 or more wines purchased on the day.
The Icons Tasting
Why not indulge in the some of the best of what Chapel Hill has to offer? Set in our historic chapel built in 1865, The Icons Tasting is a seated experience comprises 5 of our exceptional iconic red wines accompanied by delicious matched produce pairings. This is a truly unique experience in the region. A wine tasting for the purists.
COST: $45pp (includes wine tasting and individual produce plate) with 10% off any 12 or more wines purchased on the day.
The Shiraz Masterclass
Explore the variety that has made McLaren Vale famous, shiraz. Our Shiraz Masterclass offers 5 different shiraz styles ranging from our softer, more approachable ‘The Parson’ Shiraz through to our iconic single vineyard ‘The Vicar’ Shiraz. Learn about how soil, vineyard site and winemaking choice can influence the style of shiraz produced. The Shiraz Masterclass includes a delicious produce plate.
COST: $30pp (includes wine tasting and individual produce plate) with 10% off any 12 or more wines purchased on the day.
Group Bookings
If you’re a group of 8 or more (maximum 50 people), a group booking is essential. Group bookings are welcome any time before 4:000 pm daily.
